I just watched Life is Not a Stress Rehearsal again with my injured adult students. They LOVED the DVD and now appreciate the tiara, boa and nose and glasses that are in our classroom. I have a bunch of fabric that was freecycled to me. When I saw the hat with the horns on it, I knew that I had to make 1 or 5!! Any chance of you telling me what kind of a pattern you used? It is almost a full moon and much levity is desperately needed!!!
Thanks again for all your help through the years.

Hi Naomi,
What a wonderful thing you are doing. Creating all of these magical props for you adult students.
When you say injured, what has happened? I would love to hear more about the facility that work at.
In regard to the hat....I had a very talented person make it for me.
Good Luck!
My Best
Loretta

Hi there,
I teach adults who have been injured at work. They are being trained for new careers. It is difficult for some of them to return to school because they were not successful the first time around. We also get a lot of new Canadians who feel ashamed that they are not fully providing for their family as they had in the past. My teaching philosophy has always been to provide a safe and stable environment and learning happens-most of the time!!! Hence the reason for the hat(s)!!
Thanks for the laughter,
Naomi of the North
