Dear Loretta,I wanted to let you know how very much I enjoyed and appreciated your workshop. It was a great experience to share laughter with colleagues.
Re- clean underwear: my youngest son who is now 30 yrs. old would always counter with "I'll tell them that it happened in the accident"
I hope your daughter is enjoying better health.I will keep her in my prayers. As you know, there is nothing funny about cancer. Surprisingly though, spontaneous irreverant humour can still be experienced.
My husband is a 3x survivor of Stage IV non-hodgkins lymphoma. He is presently recovering from a laryngectomy due to Stage IV cancer of the larynx.During one of his recent tests ,a concerned social worker in the radiation waiting room of the hospital came up to me and said ,"Oh good, I see you brought your lunch!" She didn't realize that one container contained my husband's teeth and the other the cannula that fits in the opening of his throat. Many of us need to give ourselves permission to laugh in the most tragic of times.Thank you for your continued inspiration.

EMSB,
Thanks to both of you ladies for your support and kind words. You are the reasons I do what I do and why I continue on this amazing path. Helping folks learn from my journey is an amazing personal reward. Thanks also for your concerns for my daughter Laurie. She is doing wonderfully, still in remission thankfully. Always look for the light...it's sometimes just hard to see!!
Yours truly,
Loretta
